It's all in the details..

Last one, we hired a wedding planner since it was basically a destination wedding for us, and BOY was she awesome at what she does!! Basically I made a pinterest page of my wedding style and what not and she made my dreams a reality..

 This picture was actually taken before the ceremony, before our guest arrived. Our photographer told me Andy wanted to take pictures of us holding hands without seeing each other, this was the result :)

Reception

I am sure you might be getting tired of wedding posts but there are only going to be a few more, I promise :) The day went by so fast I hardly remember anything, almost like it was all a dream. We still haven't received all of our pictures back from our photographer, but I am enjoying the ones we do have!

Ceremony

We decided to get married back in my hometown, Pensacola, Florida. The weather was beautiful but HOT! We had over 60 people come that were from out of town, mostly from California and Ohio. Thankfully everyone LOVED the beaches and the weather. For our wedding we had our ceremony and reception in the same place which made things pretty easy. Our venue is actually a historic building that use to be used as a bar but now they only use it for events.

What an awesome feeling, I want to relive that day over and over again :)

Pre-Wedding

Besides waking up thanking god I did not have a hangover from the night before...I also woke up to my best friend asking me "CAN YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED TODAY?!!" After waking up and ordering room service with my bridesmaids our make up artist and hair stylists began to arrive..I sipped my mimosa and didn't really say a single word the whole morning, I was so nervous I couldn't even speak!

 Andy got me the sweetest gift, I had the Shel Silverstein collection as a kid and somehow lost my copy of Where the Sidewalk Ends, we always looked for a copy at yard sales and thrift shops but could never find one. There were also Katy Perry tickets inside too ;)

Ulcerative Colitis

I just got out of the hospital for the 3rd time this year due to another UC flare up. Living with UC has been very difficult and hard for me to talk to anyone about. I am embarrassed to say I have it, which is silly but I don't want people to know I suffer from something like this. The doctors tell me mine is stress related and I need to learn to live stress free..who in the world is able to live stress free? So now I am on prednisone and a whole list of new medications :(

Prednisone is a steroid, it has the tendency to make me bounce off the walls and eat..A LOT! It is the worst!! But in order to get better I have to take it. The best thing about being on this medication is that my house is always clean and I do a lot more crafting ;)

Does anyone in the blogging world suffer from this disease as well? I would love to talk to someone for support!

ENGAGED!!

We have been so busy planning our wedding..It is going to be on September 6 in Florida! I have been so busy in my Etsy shop and catching up with all your blogs! You will hear from me soon :)
